El Paso Chinese Baptist Church

Faith-Hope Chinese School History:

 

Faith-Hope Chinese School was founded in 2005 to meet the needs of El Paso’s Chinese community by instilling the children of Chinese immigrants with the language and culture of their ancestral heritage and to teach the gospel of Christ. Although it was originally born as an independent institution with a Christian mission, it was founded entirely by members of the El Paso Chinese Baptist Church and used the church’s facilities from its inception. The program continually operated for the next 11 years, and with proven stability as an organization, it reorganized in 2016 and came into full oversight by the church to strengthen its original mission for evangelistic outreach. Thus, the school grew into the next phase of its maturation as an institution and expanded its curriculum to offer more subjects of interest to its student body and families.
